In the spirits industry where 1% are female business owners along trying to break through the enormous barrier to entry, I never lost sight that is there is a true need in the spirits industry to offer high quality, higher proof, ready to drink low calorie martinis. I never gave up.
I also know when presenting Spa Girl Cocktails my presentation had to be very strong and passionate. At first I was not taken seriously, I would get comments like “oh nice idea” or “the alcohol industry is impossible to break into good luck”. I truly believe the importance of building a lifestyle brand along with creating fabulous cocktails came into harmony as a very important aspect in the industry, as it has yet to be done with a product/brand that speaks both to women and men as Spa Girl does.
I have collected stunning photographs and inspirational quotes that I put together in a gorgeous brand book. I feel my brand book has been the single most important thing I’ve done to express my brand and company. It is a tangible big beautiful pink and gold book that shows the product and the lifestyle that grabs the reader. I would get their attention and it also shows that I am very committed and serious about building brand and company in the industry.

***I believe in making everyday special and beautiful, I always have fresh flowers in my house and music playing constantly. I surround myself with things that I love. We entertain frequently once or twice a week with friends and family. When I travel I buy fresh flowers to keep in my hotel room, it is very inspiring. When I’m not traveling I spend a great deal of time in my office that is covered in fuchsia, and orange. I have learned I have to be in charge of my own destination. Enjoy the ride; you need both the peaks with the valleys to truly appreciate the journey.
