Today, her global portfolio includes Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds, Venture Capital Funds, Special Purchase Vehicles, solo investments and multiple alternative assets. To-date, her popular Investing with ConfidenceTM workshop series for women interested in investing in pre-seed to Series C startups, has trained over 1,000 executives. Her newly minted Investing with ConfidenceTM Angels group has over 200 women investors, who together, leverage their collective financial and social capital to invest in and support startups and VC funds led by BIPOC, women or LGBTQIA founders. Mrs. Smith recently retired from Google after 25 years in tech. She currently serves as Chair of the Berkeley Skydeck DEI Committee and provides thought leadership to a number of organizations, accelerators and incubators.
